Spring assessment exemplar marking

Candidate A WWW: 1. He been denoting points and con-notating his points to give a better understanding of the poster. 2. He has talked about Barthes theories of semiotics, binary opposition, enigma codes on a various amount of times. EBI: 1. He hasn't used a wide variety of theories as he has only mentioned one which is Barthes. 2. His media language is very limited as he hasn't used much to describe and help talk about his points. Band 4 Candidate B WWW: 1. His connotation and denotations are significant as he's given good ideas for each point. 2. He has linked to the audience which is good as it varies his points for the poster. EBI: 1. There isn't much media language being used limited ideas 2. He hasn't really talked much about James Bond who is the main protagonist. Band 3 Candidate C WWW: 1. He has given man detailed denotations and connotations to explain his points. 2. He has used different Media theories such as Meehan and Tunstall. 3. Has talked about lighting and given many interesting points about how the lighting reflects to the film. EBI: 1. Doesn't discuss much James bond and why he is significant. 2. Again he should talk more about the direct address Band 4 Candidate A- Straight Outta Compton WWW: 1. Mentioned key terms such as Convergences 2. Describes one of the marketing strategists the trailer in good detail EBI 1. Should mention key term Vertical Integration very key 2. Should mention more media language in the viral marketing section. Band 2
