Propp Character Role

1. The hero- the hero within this movie is Matt Brody as he is someone who starts off acting all cocky and then when a serious incident occurs, he is there and sorts out the issue and saves a drug scandal.

2. The villain- in this film the villain is Victoria Leeds, she just moved to the area recently and now runs the country club, she is using the country club as a money laundry to cover up her drug business.

3.The despatcher- in this movie, I feel that the best suited character to this definition is David Hasselhoff, as when he comes back into the modern movie to help Mitch Buchannon, he guides him to do what he thinks is right and motivates him to continue to do what right for him and assist in saving the drug scandal.

4. The princess- once again Matt Brody suits this role as whilst he is trying to save and stop the drug scandal from happening he gets caught and the villain attempts to down him, he is saved and then goes onto saving the dilemma.

5. The helper- there are many helpers in this movie as there is a group of people who all play a part in helping to stop the drug scandal. Summer Quinn is one of these people and she does man things to assist issues going on, on the beach which these lifeguards watch over and control.

6. The false hero- in this movie the false hero is Captain Thorpe, as he decides to turn against the good characters. He pretended to be on their side in the start of the movie but then makes the situation a lot worse for the lifeguards as he now knows everything about then that he can.

7. The donor- in this movie I have decided to put Mitch Buchannon as this role as he is most suited for it as he mentors all of the other lifeguards to do what is right and he teaches them the ways of lifeguarding. he does this all the way through the film.
